Privacy and support for Loom — a journal that changes with you.
Hi, I’m Boran — the solo developer behind Loom. If you’re having trouble or have a question, I’d love to hear from you.
Loom uses an AI model to read your entry and infer your emotional state from the words. It runs after you’ve written about 40 characters, and it refines as you write more. The detection happens in the background — you’ll see the atmosphere shift when it’s finished.
Because Loom believes how you feel should affect how things look. Each of the six moods — joy, calm, grateful, focused, melancholy, anxious — has its own color palette, light, and movement.
Yes. You get 30 reflection conversations per day for free. Subscribers get unlimited reflections, weekly insights, and full archive access. You can also buy reflection credit packs that never expire.
Your data stays. Your archive stays. You go back to the free tier (30 daily reflections, no weekly insights). You can resubscribe anytime.
In two places: locally on your device, and in your private iCloud (encrypted end-to-end by Apple). Loom has no servers that store your data.
Settings (gear icon) > Export all entries > Share. You’ll get a JSON file with everything.
Settings (gear icon) > Delete everything. This is permanent. There is no recovery.
