Welcome to Loom. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Loom iOS application (“Loom”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) developed by Boran Parmaksız. By downloading, installing, or using Loom, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Loom is a personal journaling application that uses artificial intelligence to provide mood-adaptive visual feedback, reflection conversations, and weekly insights based on entries you write. Journal entries are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple’s iCloud.
You must be at least 4 years of age to use Loom. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Loom offers the following in-app purchases:
Loom Infinite unlocks unlimited AI reflections, weekly AI-powered pattern insights, and full archive search.
Credits are consumed when you request AI reflections beyond the free daily limit (30 reflections per day). Credits do not expire.

No account registration is required to use the free tier.
All journal entries you create in Loom remain your property. You grant Loom a limited, non-exclusive license to process your entries on your device for the purpose of providing the App’s functionality (mood detection, reflection generation, insight aggregation).
When you request an AI reflection or insight, the relevant entry text is transmitted through our Supabase Edge Function proxy to the OpenAI API. No personal identifiers are transmitted with your entry text. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The App, including its design, code, artwork, typography, and branding (including the name “Loom”), is the property of Boran Parmaksız and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without express written permission.
Loom is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Loom is not a medical, therapeutic, or mental health service. The AI reflections and insights provided by the App are for personal journaling and self-reflection purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or emergency services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Boran Parmaksız shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ankara, Türkiye.
